Fun, Fun, Fun

We have had a great time working on our throwing skills. Please encourage your child to step out with the foot opposite to the hand they throw with. This enables them to keep good balance while moving.
The students rotated to six different stations to practice their throwing skills. They practiced with plastic horseshoes, throwing a rubber pig at a ball on a cone, throwing a rubber fish to knock down bowling pins, throwing a rubber frog at empty coke bottles, and throwing a ball and a rubber chicken into a clothes basket. What a great time they had.
The 4th and 5th graders worked on their throwing skills also. Then they had a great time playing Toliet Tag to increase their heartrate.
